If you stand at front of car with hood open, the left side of the engine (side with serpentine belt) is where the numbers start. Odd cylinder closest to serpentine belt is cylinder 1 and even cylinder closest to serpentine belt is cylinder 2. The cylinders are in numeric order, for example: the cylinder next to cylinder 1 is cylinder 3.

The diagram of a1992 Dodge Dakota LE 3.9 distributor cap order for spark plug wires order?

The cylinder banks are odd and even numbered. driver side bank 1 3 5, passenger side bank 2 4 6, from front to back. firing order, 1 6 5 4 3 2. the rotor, cw rotation. I'd put the #1 cylinder on top dead center of compression stroke, then which ever spark plug tower the rotor is leading into, in the direction of rotation, is number 1, then follow the firing order around the cap. Sorry, I don't have picture of how cap is numbered. good luck

I need to know what the cylinder # are and what the fireing order is

In the 4 cylinder the firing order is 1,3,4,2 and the cylinders are numbered 1,2,3,4 from the Passenger side to the drivers side.

In a V6 the firing order is 1,6,5,4,3,2 and the cylinders are numbered 1,3,5 in the front from the passenger side to the drivers side and 2,4,6 in the back from the passengers side to the drivers side.

Do not know the order the spark plug wires go from coil to cylinder i have the correct firing order and coil order

General motors cars all have basically the same cylinder numbering order, odd on the driver's side on rear wheel drive cars and front on front wheel drive cars. So, it will be1,3,5 on the front and 2,4,6 on the rear or pass. side. Firing order should be 1,6,5,4,3,2.

Anyone have a 1995 Buick lesabre custom, ignition wiring diagram?

Insofar as your Ignition Wiring Diagram, I hope you're speaking of what's also called the Spark Plug Cables or Firing Order. The proper Firing order for your V-6 is 1-5-3-6-2-4 with the number 1 cylinder being the front spark plug on the left hand side. The left hand side is Odd numbered and the Right hand side is Even numbered, therefore number 2 cylinder is the 1st plug on the right hand side of the engine.

Need to replace sparkplug wires.I had my plug wires ripped out of my car now I need to replace them in the right firing order.

The 3800 after 1984 is 'distributorless' so you have six "firing coils" located on the front of the engine and numbered for your convenience. looking at the 'front' of the engine which is where all the pulleys and the serpentine belt is viewing from the passenger side fender, the cylinders are numbered #1 on your right then #2 on your left and alternate right left from front to rear of the motor to connect your wires.
