The problem with my car is that it will run like a top one day & the next day it will stall every couple of blocks. Any ideas?

Your fuel pump is bad. The pump is in the fuel tank, and the fuel itself acts as a coolant to keep the pump cool. When you run out of gas, there is no fuel to cool the pump and it can burn up. You need to replace the fuel pump.

loose/weak grounding cable tied somewhere to the frame/starter/engine

run the fault codes is next to determine exactly where the fault lies.

You never leave a car running, as it will
overheat the Exhaust Converter
When you run out of fuel, you sometimes
ruin the Fuel Pump
It depends on gas to lubricate it,as strange as it sounds
Check fuel pressure & volume at the motor with a gauge

Sounds like a lemon I would look at returning it if you just got it and it has that many problems

Your only out of ideas because you don't have
vehicle knowledge & experience

I would suggest you go for a ride at a repair shop
with a mechanic & a scanner on the car & then have
them do some testing

Its a solenoid...it engages the bendix and truck starts...bendix should retract because power to it gets shut off by ignition switch going to "run".

Only way bendix would stay engaged or get a signal to keep turning ???
Bad contacts in ignition switch...maybe ??
Start relay in under hood power distribution panel has hot or welded contacts ?

I've gotta think about this one...hope this gives some help...

Try cleaning the throttle valve and the idle speed control valve. Use CRC brand spray throttle valve cleaner, about half the car will do it. Spray it into the engine intake while it running hold the idle up or it will stall out. After you have done this the idle problems should improve.

I had same problem a couple years ago with 95 sl2, i had new wires and plugs instaled and they replaced the valves also. car works great since then...

sounds like you have a bad ECU unit. have it checked.
