Re: what is the toyota number for the cabin air
The cabin air filter is actually pretty easy to change. Here are the steps:
- Set the air conditioning system to Recirculation. The case for the cabin air cannot be removed with the system in the Outside Air mode.
- Turn the engine off.
- Open the Glove Compartment
- unclip the damper rod on the ride side of the glove compartment. To unclip it usually it is just a squeeze tab but sometimes it is a phillips head screwdriver.
- The glove compartment now must be squeezed together at the rear to allow the tabs to be released. Just let the glove compartment hang down.
- Through the glove compartment opening, locate the filter cover and remove.
- Remove dirty filter and replace with the new and reverse steps 1-5 to put it back together.
Shouldnt take to long usually takes me about 5 minutes to change it.
As for the toyota cabin air number im not to sure on that but you can go to any parts store and pick up an aftermarket cabin air which will save you a bit of money, same quality..
