Fault code description: DF055 Coded line circuit,Short circuit to +12V.Active - this code DF055 is Cylinder 4 injector circuit
Try checking the voltage on the immo wire that connects the immo ecu with the engin ecu this is the coded line. on this wire must be a signal and the Max. amplitude is 5v. if you measure more than 5 volts then check wire or any interference on it . if you dont know where to find the wire then look for pin 59 at engine ecu .
My 1998 megane developed same prob dont worry its easy to solve! Open bonnet locate w/screen wiper motor lift up the black plastic moulding around windscreen wiper undo 10 ml bolt holding motor in place get a length of wire about 16ins pare off the end of wire wrap around the head of now loosened bolt tighten bolt replace cover then attach other end of wire to chassis or earth wire on battery hey presto everything functions again took me 10 mins and im a chef lol
If you've already tried changing the batteries in your key and it still won't work, it may be that the key and sensor have secome out of sync with each other, in which case you may need to call a renault dealer to reset them :(
