This sounds like a vcuum leak in one of the hoses and you can check this by getting a can of carburetor cleaner and spraying short squirts around the enging area. It the idle jumps up when spraying the try to locate why and where your sprayed. See if you can here a hissing like sucking air. Next step and you might as well check it any how is the aiir filter. Take it out and hold it to the sun or some bright light and see if the light is trying to filter through. If not and it is dark then knock it gently on something and try to get most of the dust and dirt off it. This may give it a quick fix but will need to be replaced pronto. Had the same problem. Ended up being the magnet behind the cam sensor. When i called different auto stores to ask if they had it in stock, not a single one had even heard of this part. It's cheap, so go to your local dodge dealer and pick one up.
