I have a 2001 dodge caravan with 3.3 v6.the engine is misfiring on cylinder #1 and #5.how do i check the coil to see if the coil is bad?

number 3 misfire could be faulty fuel injector.injector could be clogged or faulty. could have bad spark plug or bad wire.could have bad ignition coil or intake manifold leak.

Dirty fuel injectors. Computer will show misfire on the cylinders that are malfunctioning. If injector cleaner in tank won't clean them, pull them all out and have a professional take them apart and cleaned. Each injector has a screen in it that can get plugged up. Think about Bro, all other stuff has been renewed.

i would try a coil pack maybe you got a bad one . did you clear the code after you changed the parts . disconnect the batt for ten sec
