Reset the inertial switch (collision safety switch), located inside a compartment accessible from the inside of the vehicle, near the driver side rear lights. There should be an extruded red button which you press in to reset.
have someone listen to your gas tank while turning the key from off to run. if theres no sound, goto the rear passenger side fender cover and remove (inside the van) theres a little red button down in the rear corner. check to make sure its pushed in (inersia switch for fuel cutoff). also check fuses. if you hear the pump check, the fuel filter.
Sounds like no gas reaching the motor. Could be fuel filter or fuel pump. I would recommed you disconnect the fuel line and start car to see if fuel is coming up if it is then ur injectors r clogged or no good if nothing comes up u know is pump or filter I would change both.
my 2001 ford windstar wont start, i was driving it and completly lost power it would chug like it was running out of gas then had no power,shut it off and it wouldnt start again after that.I changed the mass air low censor,the fuel pump,the ignition switch,relays and fuses the brain box,i have no idea what to change next have any suggestion that could help that would be great thanks
