Does a 1994 Stock Toyota pick-up 2wd. Come with stereo wiring?
Does this truck come with stereo/speaker wiring? It doesn't have a stereo in it, and it never did. It has the filler plate where the stereo would normally go. There are also no speakers. I'm wondering if there is anything ran to these locations already, or if I have to hook up everything from scratch to install a stereo and a couple speakers.
Will I be charged extra by a stereo shop to install a stereo now because of this? How hard is it to hook up wiring then without the pre-existing there? Will I be charged extra by a stereo shop to install a stereo now because of this? Re: Does a 1994 Stock Toyota pick-up 2wd. Come with...
There is no wiring for a stereo system at all (toyota, along with all major makers, skimp on everything, allowing you to fit a system that,if you can afford it,will "fill the grand canyon with sound"
with wiring,if you start with the item you want to wire up and finish at the power source, remembering the colours for pos/neg,you will have no problems, use existing grommets to pass wiring through.
rule no1 is keep it tidy.....keep it short.

you need to bypass the stock amp by doing a continuity check to each speaker and connectiong those color wires to the coresponding wires on the head unit...is this infinty sound?
Not sure I understand your question. Did you buy a harness adapter for GMC, or are you trying to just cut the connector off the factory radio and solder it to your CD player? If the latter, below is the color code for your factory wiring.
