Throttle position sensor wear, carbon soot in throttle body bore and plate, weak fuel pressure from restricted fuel filter or worn pump, restricted injectors .
Did the plug wires get changed with the plugs? Try this..... Get a squirt bottle and fill it with water. When it's dark outside start your engine, lift your hood and mist the water over all the plug wires for a couple minutes. Keep it dark so you can see if spark is leaking from your wires. Also check your fuel filter, if you havnt already.
i would have the diff and rear wheel bearings
checked as wellas the fuel pump when was the
last time the oil was checked in the diffs and
gearbox transfere case?
Look at your fuel filter, It could be clogged and is restricting the high flow of fuel required at speed. This happened to my old Holden Commodore here in Australia. Fuel filters are cheap and quite easy to replace, usually located under your car on the fuel line near the tank or in the engine bay . One more thing to note..... Check your fuel hoses connecting your fuel filter, if they are kinked the same thing will happen.. Always give your fuel easy flow paths, put a large loop in the rubber hose either side of the filter if the hose will kink or the space is tight......
sounds like a fuel filter or more likely a fuel pump fault.low fuel transfer pressure, possibly a dealer would be cheaper than a diy repair unless you have the diagnosis correct.
