1997 GMC Sierra 5.7 has bad miss on left bank (2 4 6 8).

Don't know if you did the work or paid someone

If you paid someone ,then they failed to do what was
necessary to properly resolve ALL issues

Entire right bank appears to have a leaking intake gasket,
that is my guess, only a guess

I have a 2002 GMC Sierra 1500. 4.3 liter engine. I brought it to autozone and they put the gauge on it and got two codes P0140 and P0300. I had my distributor cap replaced, ignition rotor, plugs ,wires,...

Clean mass air flow sensor with a nonchlronated brake cleaner, install new air filter and check all vacuum lines for leaks then check for vacuum leak around or at intake manifold.Code P0140 is for mass air flow sensor code P0300 is a multiple misfire which more than likely is a vacuum leak possibly intake manifold gaskets leaking.

It leaks coolant under the thermostat houseing between the block and manifold

Sounds like your intake manifold gasket is leaking. This is a very common problem for these trucks.

2003 GMC Sierra Knock sensor and oil pressure??

the knock sensors are located below the intake plenum,or,upper intake manifold as some call it, they screw into the lower intake, the front one is sensor 1, the rear is sensor 2. it is wise to change both if you have some miles.since you are going to be buying a gasket set to do this job.the sensors are cheaper than the gaskets.

Need how to find TDC on 4.3 v-6

Remove # 1 plug and stick your finger in the hole, roll the engine over by hand, when you start to feel pressure in the cylinder you are near TDC, just check the crank pulley marks to zero it to TDC mark on pulley.
