2005 Kia Sportage - moving engine

2005 Kia Sportage.
When starting the car there is a terrible rattle from the engine, not just the normal diesel rattle but more like movement from the engine itself. Once the car is moving it is not noticeable it's only on start-up and low revs but is most defiantly coming from the engine.
Have had a cylinder which was not working replaced but not a great difference has been noticed, could it be that the engine management system just needs resetting? At same time had to have a new water pump and belt as the faulty cylinder had caused the engine to become un-balanced.

SOURCE: Engine rattle

It could very well be! Now that you mention it, the exhaust does sound louder when the engine is cold. Could that be a leak or something? But, it does get quieter after it warms up. Thanks for the response!

How do I bleed my 2005 KIA Sportage Manual transmission diesel engine?

Being diesel fuel I doubt that is needed. The fuel does not degrade like petrol with ethanol.

I have a kia sportage diesel 2002, it acelarates by self, without stepping on gas. What could be the problem?

May want to check the throttle cable. Sounds like it is sticking. You can spray sum WD-40 on it that usually helps. The throttle cable is the piece that moves when the gas pedal is pressed. Near the intake on top of engine normally.

My kia sportage diesel is puffing blue smoke.

Nothing to fix friend. See, in diesel, when cold, there is an electric plunger on the throttle that speeds the idle a bit till warm up. Connected to that same wire is the cold start/temperature sensor. When cold/cool this sensor will excite the plunger to speed the idle, and put more fuel into the engine making the smoke you see, until warm up is reached and the sensor shuts down. You really don't have a repair needed friend.
