Time to check the pre heat glow plugs . When it's starting from cold the glow plugs heat the cylinders prior to injuction and if one plug is down you will get this type of symptom. A amp draw test on the plugs will determine the problem . But a set of glow plugs will serve you well . Good luck

My ford mondeo wont start . I drove it no problems parked up went back to it 1 hour later and would not start. It sounds like no compression. I've checked cams no breaks timing chain seems tight

yes the timing belt seems ok but get someone to turn engine over and make sure they turn because sometimes the teeth come off the belt at the bottom pulley so although it appears ok it may not be the case and when this happens they go as the engine stops .

Car stalling and shaking

Check for vacumn leaks. Replace coil. Check plug boots for oil or water on them. PCV hose from intake manifold will get soft and collapse. Replace motor mounts. The passanger side mount is a fluid filled mount.

It is normal for an engine to run at much higher RPM's when they are cold and that will make it sound louder.

Runs rough once it warms up

With having that many miles and the light being on with a code of O2 sensor, I'd say start there. Make sure which O2 sensor it is first, pre or post convertor. It's getting close to another tune up, but check your plugs first.
