Check spark plugs, leads, distributor cap & rotor arm, fuel pump, fuel filter, coil pack(s), relays, replace any items that are suspect IE Fuel filter which has probably not been changed since new even though they should be changed on all vehicles every 18 months, all of this can be done at home & will save you a lot of bucks in mechanic/garage fees,

is the engine locked up can you turn it over by turning the fan

The Duramax fuel filter assembly is bad about sucking air. Replace the fuel filter assembly. It comes with a new fuel filter.

Actually,an aftermarket fuel tank is available that should bolt in in place of existing fuel tank that holds 55Gallons instead of the reg.30gal. check out this site...http://www.titanfueltanks.com/GMC_Chevy_Fuel_Tank.htm

Chech the Blower speed resistor located on the passenger side under the glove box it has about 5-7 wires on it. Check the red and black wire, they are bad about melting and loosing connection. If this is the problem which has been in many cases for me a chevy dealer sells the resistor and pigtail harness. **** this helps

First try rotating the tires to the rear. Does it go away? If you apply the brakes does it pull to the left? Could be a draging caliper or the slides may be hanging up.
