Mechanic worked on what he called the cluster of my 2000 Intrepid. The unit seems to run fine in general, but since the mechanic's repairs, I haven't been able to get the radio to work. I pulled the radio out and all the connections seem to be in place. The stereo system itself does light up and am able to change the stations, etc, but no sound from the speakers. When I purchased the unit, I purchased the higher end stereo system that I believe utilized eight speakers. Is there maybe a seperate fuse for those speakers? And would that fuse be located in the engine fuse compartment or the fuse compartment on the interior of the car? Also since that repair, I seem to be having a problem with the hood release. Is there an alternative way to release it?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Well its simple, just take your door panel off.

If you still haven't fixed this, look at your wiring harness. The blue wire that comes off your factory harness is the external amp in the Infinity stereo. I found this out when I hooked my Pioneer head unit up. Coming off the aftermarket stereo should be a blue wire that says remote. Hook those up and you should be good to go.
