You can't 'cancel it', you have to reset it.

Crank sensor, fuel pump,ignition module, or coil. Check fuses first.

Check for fuse and the power to ignition switch

put program key in ignition turn ignition switch to on position engine off for 3 to 15 seconds.you should hear acoustic signal and immobilizer lamp will flash then turn off ignition switch.you need two program keys to do this procedure twice. with in sixty second insert non program key in the ignition switch turn to on position engine off for at least with ten minutes you should hear acoustic noise immobilizer lamp flashing turn off ignition switch if all failed the dealership have to use diagnostic equipment to reprogram ignition key or keys.

this might sound easy but have you turned the wheel enough to take tension off the key mechisium it sometimes puts a lot of preassure on the lock and you cant turn key till you turn steering wheel opposite direction to take preassure off key lock

There is an issue with your transponder key. Call a locksmith and have them reprogram the key you have into the computer. I do this all the time. Depending on who changed out the ignition they may have don't damage to the reader that surrounds the ignition. Sometimes they don't put it back in the right spot and it won't read the key.

The key problem could be a worn out key that is not disengaging the tumblers in the ignition switch or tumblers that are sticking(squirt a little wd40 in the ignition cylinder and move the key in and out a couple of times) inside the switch. Make sure the shifter is fully in park.

move the steering wheel back and forth and rattle the key with pliers back and forth you may get one more start out of it . Then get it to a shop for a lock cylinder
