I have a 1999 Subaru Impreza 2.2 Litre that is having power problems. Everytime we go up the hill, it seems to lose power. We just fixed the O2 censors and it is still losing power. Any ideas?

If not skipping and losing power take it to a reputible exhaust shop to check for exhaust flow.. possible stopped up cat. could also be a timing problem

remove the governor inside the transmission to get to the highest desired speed if you wish. That is done on all police cars

Subaru liberty/legacy 94 loss of power

SOUNDS LIKE YOU HAVE IT NARROWED DOWN TO THE EXHAUST SYSTEM.THE CONVERTER IS PROBABLY PLUGGED,CHECK THE TEMPS. COMING IN AND OUT.THEY SHOULD ONLY BE A FEW DEGREES DIFFERANT,IF THEY'RE ALOT HIGHER COMEING OUT IT'S PLUGGED.

My subaru impreza (1993) sports wagon 1800cc,has a fault with the auto tranmission. when coming to a stop at traffic lights, when you go drive off it's like doing a hill start.... 2500 revs and the cars...

sounds like its not going back into first gear at the lights then it kicks back when you take off,but it takes off in second, get the adjustments looked at as you could damage it if you keep driving it,its cheaper to do a small fix than wait and have to do a major one, bite the bullet and get it looked at soon

I suggest you try one of those instant download manuals. My nephew bought one for me when my car broke and we could fix it all by ourselves with the manual costing $10. Try it.

199 subaru impreza

sounds like one of the vacume pipes or one of the pipes to the turbo are leaking wich will cause too much air going into the engine and make it hesatate and stall.
