I got the ABS Light on my 2005 Chrysler Town and

I got the ABS Light and Trac-off light on my 2005 Chrysler Town and Country. How do I troubleshoot which wheel sensor is bad?

Stop at a Tuffy or other shop and they can scan for codes to tell you which sensor may be faulty. Wheel sensors are easy to replace.

    I had the same problem, There was a corroded broken power wire under the fuse box (next to the battery)

Use an obd2 tester it should tell you which one or replace them all

Hi...i have a 2005 chrysler town & country sto & go LX 3.3L V-6 mini van....for some reason the brakes r acting up....sometimes they work sometimes the pedal goes all the way to the floor....master...

its sounds like it could be a bad master cylinder with an internal leak.it could also be a problem with the abs hydraulic module that for some reason is bypassing brake fluid within the unit itself.these problems won`t neccessarily turn on the dash light or activate the abs light.

ABS and Trac off lights on , did you have it checked for DTC'S - diagnostic trouble codes ?

YOU NEED TO HAVE ABS CONTROLLER SCANNED FOR DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES..THE SYSTEM HAS DETECTED A FAULT..A GOOD SCAN WILL YOU LEAD DOWN THE PATH TO FIXING THE PROBLEM..YOU CAN SEE IF WHEEL SPEED SENSORS ARE NOT WORKING,IF YOU CAN'T COMMUNICATE WITH CONTROLLER,ETC..LET ME KNOW WHAT IS FOUND

Add brake fluid and bleed the air out of the brake lines.

Abs light stays on

No need to untill you fix it. Bad abs senser or sencers. And you need the decoding tool to reset.
