Its on the front of the transmission below the coil it compares the input shaft/turbine speed against the speed of the output sensor it is checking to see how much slip or diffrenece in shaft speeds the only time the two shafts are spinning at the same time is when torque converter is in lockup

get this sensor from ford dealer for a little more than $100 bucks
