My 91' Oldsmobile Cutlass cruiser is not starting. The engine is turning over but not firing up. It sounds like it is out of gas but it has 3/4 tank

If not reachable from underneath the engine tips forward to change they make a holding tool. Loosen the dog bone engine mounts and lean on the car you'll see the engine move pull it forward with a bar then find something to hold it there. I hope this helps. Take Care.

Fuel, spark, air, compression, timing. Essentials for an engine to run. You've addressed injectors (fuel) and spark (plugs and wires), and I assume it's getting air as it is running. The next thing I would do is a compression check. If you have low compression on a cylinder or cylinders, you may have mechanical problems with valves or rings.

3.1 liter V-6 VIN "M"

The firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2. From the front of the car odd numbers on the drivers side of the engine and even numbers on the passengers. The distributor turns clockwise and #1 is at the 5 o'clock position. Hope this helps.

Are you getting any fire to the plugs? It could be the coil, ignition module, or even a broken or slipped timing belt. How many miles does the car have? Have you had starting problems in the past, or did it just stop working suddenly?

The wet plugs are not firing. The engine must be running rough. Check for spark on the middle two. Find the problem and change oil and filter.
