The first thing to check is your battery. If you have dash lights that doesn't confirm your battery has enough of a charge to turn the engine over.
Is the dash light your SES (Service Engine Soon) light? If so...diagnostics can be accessed via a OBDII code reader and provide a starting point to trouble shoot any registered faults. (Some automotive parts stores offer free code retrieval.)
Is it one of those clicks the starter solenoid and then can't make it click again until turning the key off and waiting???
Might check and make sure the battery connections are tight. Might also be the starter solenoid.
you will need to do a security relearn.
1.turn key to on position and leave on
2.after 10 minutes the light will flash and go out turn the key on to off 3x then leave on again.
3. do this 3 times for 30 minutes then after 30 minutes your 3rd time and after turning the key 3 times the 4th time start the car. it should start right up.
