I went into a store for about 10 minutes. When I came out I found a long, thin, yellow rope tied to my back passenger-side rim. The other end was not attached to anything. Why would somebody do this?

select a point that is connected to the chassis like a shackle if you have leaf springs or around the chassis cross member . Towing a vehicle on a rope is generally a traffic offence as the towed vehicle is not considered roadworthy. Besides body damage from over running the rope it is generally cheaper to put it on a tilt tray. If you are pulling from a bog situation then the selection of the tow point is critical as chassis damage will occur if not right.
I would think so. P stands for passenger and LT stands for light truck. The store that sold the tires should be able to get the correct recommended pressure. You went down from 17 inch to 14 inch rims ??
First make sure the rubber seal has been cleaned totally out (broken glass chips ect.)Install the rubber seal. Then lighty glue a strong thin nylon rope in the rubber groove all the way around the groove the glass sets in. Leave a part of the rope out so you can pull on it. Then carefully set the bottom of the glass in the groove.Always hold a little pressure on the glass to hold it in.Then slowly pull the rope out. This will cause the rubber edge to come out and rap around the glass.
i would recommend using some rope to tie the window or take off the cover of the door panel and drill a hole into the window if you do not want the window to back down
Are you trying to pull the driveshaft out ? If so , a solid **** will work beter than prying or pulling.
I had one once , on a Kia , could not get it out try as I might. In the end I got mad , tied a piece of rope around it , tied a loop in the other end of the rope , and swung my hammer into the loop. It poped out right away , no problem. Good luck , hope this helps.
If you put new rotors on and used the old pads that could be your problem. You never put new rotors on, with out new pads even when the old pads look new. Also just because the rotors are new does not mean thery are not warped. I have done a lot of break jobs where i have had to take the rotors back off and had them turned because they were warped right out of the box.
You probably blew the fuse on the passenger side inside the Frunk (Front Trunk). The headlights are operated by both relays and fuses. My fuse went out and prevented them from going down. They would go up still.
