Honda civic 1998 EX check engine light on codes p300 p0301 p302 p303 p304

I don't think it is your catalytic converter because your light usually flashes and a bad cat I never heard of them causing a misfire. I ran your other code it is for a faulty EGR system. Exhaust gas recirculation excessive. You are getting too much exhaust gas back in the system. This will cause your misfire. Go-to a trusted mechanic and have them check out your EGR system.

My 1998 Honda civic ex won't move but the motor

Have you just replaced the clutch? Taken out the transaxle, and put it back in? Are you sure transmission was in good condition before this? If so, review your procedure carefully to be sure you got it all back right.
Watch the slave cylinder while someone depresses clutch. You should see the little plunger move slightly out and move the clutch lever back. The lever moves the release bearing inside bell housing into contact with the pressure plate. If slave cylinder doesn't move at all, try bleeding again. The plunger has to move when clutch is engaged.
I'm not sure what you mean by "will shift but won't go into gear". You mean it's actually going into a gear position and car won't move? Or it won't go into any gear, period. As if you had no clutch?

97 civic ex auto with 40k miles. Under slow acceleration, upshifts are 'lazy' with engine speeding up for a few 'moments' before shift is completed. More brisk acceleration delivers better or normal...

A '97 with only 40k ? Wow ! Sounds like a transmission issue. I would begin with changing the transmission fluid and filter. If that didn't work, I'd take it to a transmission shop because there isn't much you can do on your own with a transmission due to their inherent complexity.

2005 honda civic ex engine light and trans want swift to last ge

It is possible that the emission problem that triggered the check engine light has something to do with the car not shifting into high gear. You need to have the honda scanned for codes to see what exactly is wrong, correct the problem, and see if the transmission issues clear up after the fix. Parts stores offer a free check of engine codes, and can explain what they mean and offer ideas on how to fix the problem. If after getting the codes you still have questions, post them here with the code #'s.
