Tire cupping, high and low spots on the tread pattern, is the result of alighnment or suspension issues. You'll need to inspect all the suspension components to ensure they are in good condition. You should also invest ina 4 wheel alignment. Rotating tires can also help keep this problem to a minimum.

99 ford taurus rear tires wearing onthe inside.how do i fix

It sound like the Camber is off in the rear. Did you have an alignment done after the new struts wear installed?

I'm being told I need to have the rear cambers replaced during my alignment because they are off by some measurement and this is causing my rear tires to cup.

Cupping is usually caused by faulty shock or struts. Camber that is out of specification will cause uneven wear from inside to outside of tire. The shop should supply you with a printout of where your measurements are currently and what they should be. Can you send a good picture of the tires tread?

Uneven cupping or wear on the inside of front tires.I believe its toe setting. you set the toe on 2006 trail blazer 4/4 (HOW) ?raje

Cupping and uneven wear are for two different reasons. Cupping is caused by either an unbalanced tire/rim or bad shock. Uneven wear can be an alignment issue. I don't know how to set the toe in.

My rear tires wear really fast on the inside

if wearing on teh inside then then they are towing out ,unless they are laying over at teh top too much either way its a visit to the chassis align workshop as it would seem your vehicle has been in a bump or a shunt somewhere along the line

Misalignment. wheel vibration.

If it were my car I would have taken it right back to the Dealership as soon as I discovered the problem. You paid for a service and they claimed to have provided that service. As a representative to Nissan they should have done the right thing by you, the customer. If you have not contacted them, do so. If you have a reciept for services rendered so should they in their service records. They should even be able to tell which of their techs worked on your car. The bottom line is you can't put an allignment on worn out parts and until they touched your car it didn't wear out tires. You have the right to be angry and you shouldn't have to worry about if you can switch your tires to the back. To answer your question, yes you can switch if they aren't too badly worn. But switching will only wear out the other two tires and putting sloped tires in the back can put undo stress on your rear wheel bearings and other components. Good Luck
