Very LOUD banging noise from front left wheel

For several months my car has had a fairly rough vibration while turning right, and only while accelerating. (only felt on highway on-ramps, really) Often my ABS/Traction control lights come on, seemingly out of nowhere.
Last night I was driving home on the highway, and I noticed an unusual vibration while going straight. As I was pulling into my parking lot it started making a loud clunking noise. This loud noise persisted both while going straight and turning, but it seemed to fade when I let off the accelerator. I haven't driven it any faster than 10-15 mph since hearing this.
Initially I was suspecting the CV axle, but today I jacked up the car and it feels like the bearing has a lot of play.

Car feels crooked

When you said you had several alignments, where they just front wheel alignments, or all four wheel alignments?

Sometimes, the rear can get out of alignment, also.

Loud banging noise right front wheel. shimmies ,can't drive over 25mph

I agree with the axle CV joint choice.
Could also be a brake or wheel bearing failure, but the CV joint is the most likely given the symptoms.

I hear a loud grinding noise when i drive my car

Check front tyres & wheel bearings espesially the R/H/F. Feel tyre for high / low spots on inside & jack up & spin wheel if you get noise while jacked up it is not the tyres but wheel bearing or brake pads but more than likly a crook bearing by the sound of it. It needs to be tended to ASAP

Growing noise in front end of Volvo s60

sounds like a wheel brg, if the noise lessens when you turn to the left while driving more than likely it is coming from the right side, but a brg makes more of a roaring noise.

I hear a loud ratteling noise coming from where

The rattle is likely a loose shield or a bad catalytic converter. As for the loud banging, Have you checked the front U-joints behind the brake rotors. As for the Reverse noise? Auto or stick shift?

Vibration/Humming/Grinding noises when stopping or turning left.

when turning left vehicle distributes weight to right front wheel bearing causing load. since u describe a noise in right front while driving straight i would suspect failed right front wheel bearing. see if your noise changes/goes away while turning right that should tell u 4 sure

I have front end vibration that is not caused by alignment. New tires on all four wheels but still have alot of front end vibration. Car is a 2004 Hyundai Tiburon.

just checked this out a while ago:

Wheel Hub Assemblies: Systems and Diagnosis of Worn Hub Assemblies & Bearings
Front wheel hub assemblies and bearings control the position of, and reduce the resistance of, vehicle wheels in contact with the pavement. When they fail, front wheels may not be kept in position and vibration and noise usually develop. Symptoms that normally develop as a result of these worn parts include:
  • A humming, rumbling or growling noise which increases with acceleration or as the vehicles turns
  • Vibration felt in the steering wheel, which changes with vehicle speed or as the vehicle turns
  • Looseness or excessive play in the steering wheel (especially while driving over rough road surfaces)
  • A loud, constant grinding noise when driving the vehicle (heard in the most severe cases of a wheel bearing failure)
  • Pulling to one side when braking.
  • Roughness - with the vehicle of the ground, roughness or vibration when rotating the wheel
  • Looseness - with the vehicle off the ground, looseness when wiggling the wheel back and forth (Looseness may also indicate a worn ball joint)
  • Excessive brake pedal play can also indicate sloppy or excessively loose wheel bearings
  • ABS failure in the system may be related to failure of the ABS sensor in the hub assembly or the internal sensor in the wheel bearing
