The AC in the front of my 99 suburban does not get cold at all. At first it would get cold then warm then cold again and now just stays warm. The rear AC works great. There is only 1 compresser so that would mean the charge in it should be fine being that the rear AC works so well. Any idea's?

Check your temp control switch the control is not sending the correct signal to the actuator. Try turning on the heater an then dial it up/down temp and see if that works

SOURCE: Yukon A/C, rear blows cold, front ducts a LOT warmer.

There is only one A/C system split into 2 zones. Check the blend door actuator, it may have failed in one position or something may be jamming it. Also check the control panel in the dash, My 98 yukon did the same thing, no matter what temp you selected for the front it would blow at about 70 degrees. There is a circuit board in the control panel that gets corroded and one of the circuits controls blend door operations. Have a look.

SOURCE: ac is blowing warm air in my 2005 sierra 2500hd duramax. Any idea

Your system has R-134 Freon in it. the 134 is made up of smaller molecules than the old R-12. The R -134 permeates through the rubber parts of the system. If the system gets too low on Freon, the compressor will stop coming on.(low pressure cut out switch). Have the system serviced with an A.C. machine that can vacuum, measure the amount of Freon in the system, and add the right amount. The machine can also inject die. Later the die will show up under a black light. This will show any leaks you may have.

SOURCE: Rear a/c not blowing cold, front works fine.

probably the same problem as the '99. you probably lost too much coolant. charge with dye and check for leaks, (these things lose refrigerant normally, so you may not have a bonafide leak but check anyway) change the accumulator as a matter of course. evac the system and make sure you lose no vac over the course of 5 to 10 min. recharge the system for the proper weight (which is on the accum sticker) if you need detailed instructions let me know.

2001 Chevy Suburban rear a/c warm front ice cold

I believe there is a expansion valve located on the back part of the air conditioner on the back right side i believe that could be the problem. I think if I am understanding you correctly, your back air is not as cool as it should be or not cold at all. Might want to check this. If I am not understanding you correctly please let me know again what your problem is.

My front a/c is cold then when i turn on back ac it gets warm

fuse or relay under the hood, check manual for which one, this is the best case scenario. If not than let me know- does it make that suckng sound when you switch from regular cold air to AC air in the back or has it ceased sounding like its even trying

My ac on my 99 Chevrolet suburban not cold at stop

sounds like you have a minor vacuum leak in the system or a weak blend door motor. Your a/c is responding to engine vacuum changes.
