The Belt Diagram should be on the underside of your hood, however they have a way of disappearing.

We need replace the serpentine belt on a 1998 Buick Lasabre
Easy job on those vehicles. Usually need a wrench that fits over the belt tensioner, and you raise or lower it, taking tension off the belt. then just slip it off the nearest pulley-often the alternator pulley. Now you can let go of the tensioner and remove belt. Notice how it is fit. There should be a diagram on a sticker of how the belt fits on.

Need to know how to take motar mount off to put on serpinten belt on 97 buick lasabre
you can follow the directions as said in the manual, it is also specified with a diagram near the radiator.
You must first of all loosen t he belt tensioner pulley so that the belt can be rolled accordinly .Once done fix tension to the pulley and pull tight while tightening the bolts.

The diagram should be on a sticker somewhere in the engine bay (check upper radiator supports, underside of the hood, plastic panels, strut towers, anything) it will be there unless the sticker is damaged or removed.

How to change serpentine belt on 97 laSabre
On the underside of the hood or on the radiator shroud there should be a decal showing the routing of the belt for the engine that came in the car. The tensioner pulley (should be designated on the decal) will need to be moved to remove the old one and to reinstall the new.

Diagram for 1998 buick lasabre serpentine belt
I found the diagram in my owner's manual.
I replaced the belt on mine just 2 days ago. All you need to do is remove one bolt from the lower motor mount and remove the spacer. After you relieve the belt tensioner, the belt will slip right through the gap. Don't forget to support the engine before removing the bolt. As a backup I took a photo of the belt with my digital camera beforehand... just in case.
