The fuel system is under a constant pressure, even with engine off. before servicing the fuel filter/fuel pressure regulator, the fuel system pressure must be released.
CAUTION The fuel system is under pressure when the engine is running, 58 psi, plus or minus 5 psi. (400 kPa plus or minus 34 kPa). The fuel pump module contains a check valve to maintain some fuel pressure even when the engine is not operating. This will help to start the engine. Before servicing the fuel filter/fuel pressure regulator, the fuel system pressure must be released.

Hope this help.

Where is location of fuel volume regulator

Fuel pressure regulator ! An it's location is inside the fuel tank .
The fuel pump (FP) module contains the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator and the fuel sender assembly. The fuel pressure regulator is attached to the fuel pump in the fuel pump module located in the fuel tank. It regulates fuel pressure supplied to the fuel injectors. The fuel pressure regulator is a diaphragm-operated relief valve. Fuel pressure is established by a spring preload applied to the diaphragm. Excess fuel is bypassed through the regulator and returned to the fuel tank.

2002 Chrysler sebring plugs getting wet and refuse to start is it a faulty map pressure sensor?

humidity in the cylinders would be more related to the erg valve, and there are a whole lot more sensors other than the (intake) manifold absolute pressure sensor involved in producing a lean fuel mix/heavy air mix scenario- TPS, MAF, VAF.

if the engine is not starting and there was water in the cylinders, could you have a blown head gasket? any exhaust drip or white smoke, oil filmed coolant or bubbly oil on the dipstick?

Location of fuel pressure regulator on 97 chrysler sebring lxi 2.5

That year make and model has a returnless fuel rail. The regulator is not in the engine bay like other people mistakenly answered. It is under the car on the right side of the frame near the fuel filter and fuel tank.

Fuel pressure regulator location on a 2002 Dodge Caravan .The van stalls when trying to slow down or comming to a stop.

The regulator is in the fuel tank. You must drop the tank to get to the system It is part of the fuel pump/fuel pressure regulator/fuel level sending unit. If just changing the regulator which you can, make sure you install new o-rings, put a little clean gas on them to install. Cheaper than a new fuel pump.
