You can get a .pdf version of the 2001 Ford Taurus Owner's Manual at: http://owner.ford.com/servlet/ContentServer?pagename=Owner/Page/OwnerGuidePage&year=2001&make=Ford&model=Taurus

It has instructions and guides for finding and replacing the fuses in a 2001 Ford Taurus. It starts on page 146-147.

Always use the specific Owner's Manual for the correct Model Year of a Ford or Mercury vehicle. I recently purchased a 2001 Ford Taurus, and had thought that I could use the Owner's Manual from a 1999 Mercury Sable from a friend. BUT, I figured out that each model year can be very different (before any serious damage happened.) Good luck.

Check for the fuse and relay diagrams in the owners manual in the glove
box.If you don't have it,I'd suggest picking up a Chilton's Manual,at any
parts store. Good luck.

Where would I find the fuse for the cruise control in a 2001 ford escape

Not certain if this will help. The 1st supplied diagram lists the fuse in the box within the passenger cabin. As you can see, none are listed for a cruise control module. The 2nd supplied from automotorpad.com in the Ford Cruise Control Module #4 diagram, has an arrow pointed to a Fuse Holder but I see no identifier on the page for the year of the vehicle. Then there is an unsettling article from ItStillRuns. https://fuse-box.info/ford/ford-escape-2001-2004-fuses-and-relay

2007 Taurus cruise control stopped working. Can it be a fuse? If so, where is fuse located in box?

it could be for that Google 2007 ford Taurus owners manual and download it for free from ford that way you'll always have it on your phone/computer//// if it's not the fuse it's possible that the unit where the gas pedal is has burned out or the plug came off/broken wire

Why wont the cruise control work on a 2005 ford taurus but the cruise light comes on

The first thing to check is the tail lights. The cruise control will not work if any lights are out. Changing to LED tail lights also causes the cruise to not work.

Can you tell me why the # 28 fuse under the hood keeps blowing when starting vehicle?

Your owners manual should have the info in the back of the book.
If fuse number 28 is a 15 amp fuse, it could be the cruise control and brake lights.

The cruise control won't work on my 2004 ford taurus.

There should be a fuse specifically for the cruise. Look in the owners manual to find out where your fuse box is located, then there will be a diagram of the layout of the fuses. Check the fuse that coresponds with your cruise control.

I need to know what fuse number 28 is ON MY 2001 FORD TAURUS

number 28 in the fuse box under the hood by the battery is a 15 amp Mini Fuse that run the HEGO Sensor Transmission Shift Solenoid, Canister vent, A/C Clutch Relay, Thermactor Bypass Solenoid. If your referring to the fuse box in the car under the dash it is a 10 amp fuse that goes to the Blower motor relay coil, EATC Logic

My air conditioning and cruise control both quit at the same time. Is there a fuse or relay that needs to be replaced and where would it be located.

above the radiator under the hood there is a rectangular fuse box, remove all fuses and relays one at a time and check for corosion and loose fitting. this fuse box is known for these problems, being subjected to moisture

Cruise control not working

Fuse is marked "ASC" 10A Speed Control (passenger compartment fuse box), most likely this will not be the problem, and if th fuse blew then there is a short and it won't work, the most common cause is the cruise control switch circuit.
