I have changed the lube oil and filter in my mountainer, but the display on the dashboard still shows 'oil change required'. How do I the 'oil change required' message?

The instructions on how to reset the' oil change required' message is in the owners manual (I believe it's page 81). Listed below is a site to get a free download of the manual for your 05 Mountaineer. Let me know if you have any trouble accessing this info.

How do you reset the oil change required sign that comes up on then information display of a 2002 mountaneer. It has had an oil change but they failed to reset it.

Hi,
Hold the reset button in for 5 seconds.

You should then get a message the the "oil" life is 100% or the oil change required light will go out.
I hope this helps.
Good Luck.
