Corrosion in the wire harness splices are quite common on Cavaliers. The front lighting harness will need to be closely inspected for water intrusion into the harness. Remove both headlamp housings and inspect the harness that runs between both headlamps near the "grill" area. Any spliced area's will appear as a bulge in the harness and should be opened and inspected. Water intrusion will appear bright green as the copper will be corroded.Repair any supsect areas and tape up the harness completely after confirming the repair. Sorry I cannot tell you which splice as there are mutiples. Good luck.

Headlight is dim on one side

Several locations on the core support and frame rails. Or just splice in a new ground lead from the head lite socket harness to ground. If its still dim, may be a low voltage issue or a failing bulb.

Follow the ground wire ( black to the raditor suport and reconnect it or add aground wire from it to the battery ground and it'll work good. Bet it goes out if you unplug the other headlightas it's grounding thought the other light.

I have a 2008 Ford Fusion and the passenger side head lamp will not come on. The fog lights and driver side head lamp works but the passenger side will not work on bright or on dim, what could this be?

Hi. Since the headlight on the driver side is working then we dont have any problem with the fuse or relay. Check the wiring and the socket of the passenger headlight if it is intact to the bulb. If it is intact, then this could be a headlight problem. Time to replace the passenger headlight.

On dim all four headlights are on, but the inner

first i would want to know that all the headlamps are in good working order. it kind of sounds like these are also bad bulbs. you will also need to look for good ground wires just behind the headlamp assemblies. to answere your question, YES. if things were not repaired properly and without attention to detail then you could have wiring issues. on the plus side it doesnt sound too difficult. try these items first.
