My battery on my 1989 Crown Vic keeps dying when left parked for several days. I have replaced three battery's and two fender mounted start solenoids.

Believe it or not, the clock will drain a battery, but yours sounds like something else is running besides the clock. But I don't know what. If I was going to be parking it for more than one day, I would disconnect the battery.

Something is draining your battery when the car is off. Are your headlights coming on on their own when the car is parked? Sometimes the spring becomes weak in the switch and the headlight flash comes on and stays on. Try parking the car with the switch in the high beam position, closest to the dashboard. If you have a multi tester, go through the circuits at the fuse box with the keys out of the ignition and see if anything is drawing a lot of power, You will need to remove the fuse to do this.

I had a very similar problem. Battery DISCONNECTED from the vehicle wiring did not discharge over night = battery OK. A fully charged battery CONNECTED to the vehicle would discharge completely by morning. The alternator was the problem. One of the diodes failed and allowed the drain. If you drive the vehicle and after the block has cooled to ambient temperature, but the alternator remains warm to hot to the touch you have found the culprit. The discharge through the diode will generate heat. Take off the alternator and have your local auto parts store spin test it to confirm.

Front left fender 1998 crown vic removal

First you will need a helper to remove the hood then locate all bolts mounting the fender to the cab of the car there are many of them! You will need to remove the lights and disconnect the wires to the turn lamps! Being cautious so you don't break any wires!

Why my 1989 crown vic 5.0 after driveing and gets good and warm engine will die after it cools it will do same over after it warms back up i replaced the coil but no change

It could be the ignition control module, bolted to the side of the distributor. Also check the pick up coil in the distributor.

I have a 1989 Ford Crown Vic. Here lately the car will die going down the road. It will usually start right back up. SO, I replaed the in line fuel filter and it was fairly dirty. It ran great for a few...

Most likely the fuel pump, when the fuel filter gets that restricted,it most of the time,is not long before the fuel pump goes out, because of the strain on the pump.
