Driving my 98 olds 88 it died going down the road put new plugs plug wires fuel pump still won't start fuse good relay good

Why did you replace the fuel pump? Did you test fuel pressure? Test the electrical circuit for the fuel pump? Do you know how to do that? Does it have spark? Put a spark tester on a plug wire an crank the engine. What fuse an relay are good ,fuel pump .

88 Chevy S-10 4.3 No spark

I think you have spent enough money to realize it's time to take it to a certified GM Tech, it can be any number of things, poor ground connection, faulty Power Train Control Module, I believe it is a Module problem because it sounds heat related. I am sorry I can't give more useful advice but these types of problems require tests that over the internet I can't do. Call me if you like 925-459-0571

97 olds 88 runs rough first few seconds, when you shut it off it will not crank. Had the ignition control module tested and says that it is good. Any ideas?

Will not crank how ? When you turn the key to the start position does the starter engage and spin the engine ? , A crank no start condition . Or nothing happens . A no crank - no start condition . I assume by your statement ( Had ignition control module tested ) That you have a crank no start condition . in which case have you tested input from the crank sensors to the ICM and PCM . What engine does your Old's have ? 3.8 L
Is there spark at the coil's ? Pull plug wires off of the same coil , have someone crank the engine over , Is there a spark jumping from one coil tower to the other ? If so , you don't have an ignition problem , fuel more then likely . Is your SECURITY light lit on the instrument cluster , if it has anti-theft .

95 olds royale 88 hesitated on pull out when accellerated, then jerked hard drove little rough.

Could be bad coils, fuel filter and tune up.This is basic maintenance.I today change spark plugs on 3.8 .One was crack and some worn out.190000 km.

Changed spark plugs now runs rough and has thick white exhaust

Changing the plugs probably had nothing to do with it.
White smoke is usually a sign the engine is burning coolant or trans fluid. You might want to check those fluid levels.
If the coolant is low, you may have a leaking head gasket or intake gasket.

My olds 1992 88 stopped running. changed the fuel filter and drained all of the old fuel (which wasuper rusty and contaminated). the car seems to want to start now but wont. i have been told to change the...

have you got a good spark- take out a plug and lay it plugged into the lead on top of the engine so the tip is earthed (touching the engine) and crank it over - DO NOT TOUCH THE PLUG WHILST CRANKING AS IT GENERATES MASSIVE ELECTRICAL VOLTAGE..............
if it sparks its probably a fuel problem still and not ignition/electrical.

My 1993 Olds 88 wont start cranks but wont kick over. Fuel prob

3.8 are known for ignition trouble but first use the fuel release valve located on top of engine under a screw cap to see if your getting fuel. It takes 4 things to make engine run fuel spark air and compression. But most likely the Ign control module or crank sensor. So try this
1) check the fuel pressure
2) check for spark
3) compression test
