That would be a fault in the wiring. That is odd that the two are connected. Must run on the same circuit. Each wire will have to be tested with an ohmmeter and volmeter from switch to relay, to radio and to power control module.

From more research and looking at the repair manual, How do your turn signals work? Seems like your switch is faulty or shorting out. It is possible. You can always test it with a meter as well. Wouldn't hurt. Seems like a common jeep problem

Why don't the headlights, turn signals, and wipers work?

Check fuses. Replace the turn signal switch for the head lights. If the wiper fuse is good, Replace the turn signal switch first, then go after the wiper motor. Both run threw the turn signal switch.

A/C, wipers, turn signals, running lights not working-radio does

Is it possible that there is leak that could be causing a short circuit? Possibly behind the fuse box? Just an idea, good luck.

Very possible you may have a faulty voltage regulator. I would have it tested which many places do for free.

check your charging system the voltage at the battery should be 12.85 Volts WITHOUT the engine running and 13.2-14.5 Volts with the engine RUNNING. If the voltage is low it probably means the alternator is at fault.
