Car wont turn on smells like gas
Sounds like you might have fuel pressure problem.
When you start your car you should hear a buzz noise for a few
seconds. If you don't hear the buzz, then that means the pump
isn't running and the engine is not getting enough fuel.
If you do hear a buzz and it sparks with compression but no fuel, I mean if
it starts and runs for a few seconds before stalling, then the problem
night be the ignition circuit.
Hope this helps. Let me know if it helped or not.

Another suggestion:
Check the Electronic Control Module (ECM), and the Central Electronic Module (CEM). On some of these vehicles the wiring is place on or around something that heats it up
I think you should REALLY check for spark. Check your spark plugs...
I had a problem with the wiring being too close to the engine on my Ford. Once I moved it I had no problem. Just a thought for you. IF this is the problem, make sure you find some way of keeping it away from the heat....

It should not smell like gas unless the engine is REALLY flooded. But todays computer controlled cars won't allow that. I think you have a fuel leak somewhere.
