Sounds like you might have fuel pressure problem.

When you start your car you should hear a buzz noise for a few
seconds. If you don't hear the buzz, then that means the pump
isn't running and the engine is not getting enough fuel.

If you do hear a buzz and it sparks with compression but no fuel, I mean if
it starts and runs for a few seconds before stalling, then the problem
night be the ignition circuit.

Hope this helps. Let me know if it helped or not.

    Another suggestion:

Check the Electronic Control Module (ECM), and the Central Electronic Module (CEM). On some of these vehicles the wiring is place on or around something that heats it up

I think you should REALLY check for spark. Check your spark plugs...

I had a problem with the wiring being too close to the engine on my Ford. Once I moved it I had no problem. Just a thought for you. IF this is the problem, make sure you find some way of keeping it away from the heat....

It should not smell like gas unless the engine is REALLY flooded. But todays computer controlled cars won't allow that. I think you have a fuel leak somewhere.

Ran gas now starts then turns off and smells like burning rubber

Not sure I follow your story. If you really did run out of gas, you may have damaged the fuel pump in the tank. But it would not cause any smells.
Can you tell where the smell is coming from ?

My 2000 Chrysler 300m wont start it turns over but wont fire its getting gas but wont fire

Are you certain it's getting gas, does it smell flooded?
Pull one of the plugs, see if its wet after cranking.
Ground plug and check for spark, if no spark, problem could be crank sensor or coil packs.

Is gas petal on ford explorer is almost on the floor, also it cranks but wont start

it may be your fuel pump, take off your air cleaner and pump the gas with the engine off and see if you smell or see gas, then try it with someone turning the engine over and see if u can smell or see gas, if not your pump is probably shot

Vehicle will crank but wont fire

The problem is probably either a bad fuel pump or a bad coil/distributor. To test this, try to turn over the engine for 10 seconds then go back to the tail pipe and smell around it. If you smell gas it is probably a coil/distributor problem. If you do not smell gas it is most likely your fuel pump.

Car wont start starter turns fast but dont start as if out of gas.i have gas.

If the starter is turning fast you either have no fuel getting to the injectors or no spark to ignite the fuel. If you smell gas coming out of the tailpipe it's probably spark related. If you smell no gas coming out of the tailpipe it may be your fuel pump or a clogged fuel filter. Check the fuel pressure.
