Isn't there a default unlock code for Landrover radios? When I first bought my Used 2003 discovery, I took it to the dealer for an unlock code. the Sales manager rattled off some code, which worked. I thought I put it in the book, but can't find it now...

No default code that I know of, I would call back your sales manager. If you had the car serviced at a Land Rover dealer check the service form as oftern the radio code will be listed on the top section.

It is usually listed in the top section of repair invoices from a dealership. If you still cannot get the code. there are many sites on the internet that can supply the code for a fee.
I had a new cd player fitted to my 97 discovery and that did. Raido codes are free, providing you can prove ownership. Just visit a main landrover dealer, they got mine in about 10 minites.
