My hyundai 1.6 petrol matrix has intermittant

My hyundai Matrix1.6 petrol has intermittant starting probs-but always runs sweet ehen started. Dealer diagnostics comes up with no faults. Can you advise?
The matrix is not listed under your model list - probably because its sold in England under a different name. I've listed it as a Sonata in order to access your service

Answer from the uk.you will only have a problem showing up if the engine management system records a fault within that system, so, the only solution is, if you have remote locking, change the batteries and use to unlock car not using the key.or if no remotes, change keys on a regular basis.(they are coded to the car) do not use grey (service key) only 2 x black keys supplied with car....check handbook re keys....

I have a 2006 Hyundai Matrix 1.6 GSI petrol. Automatic. When cruising at 4o mph it starts jerking and seems like it has a problem selecting the right gear. Also at around 60 mph it jerks when I accelerate.

My experience with Hyundai vehicles strongly suggests you have a bad TPS (Throttle Position Sensor). Replace it... see if that CURES it. (OR, you can have a qualified technician bench test it to see if it is defective). Your solution.

Car wont start

If your car is injected it maybe the crankshaft position sensor or the throttle position sensor. Get then tested or replace them.
