CHECK ALTERNATOR OUTPUT IT SHOULD BE 13.5 TO 14.5 VOLTS WITH ENGINE RUNNING.IF VOLTAGE LOWER 12 VOLTS THAT WILL CAUSE BRAKE AND ANTI LOCK BRAKE LIGHTS TO COME ON BECAUSE THAT NOT ENOUGH POWER FOR ABS BRAKES OPERATION.IF ALTERNATOR GOOD.BRAKE AND ABS LIGHTS ON ALSO MEANS LOW BRAKE FLUID LEVEL CHECK BRAKE FLUID LEVEL.ALSO. YOU HAVING BRAKE FAILURE.YOU NEED TO HAVE GARAGE OR DEALERSHIP CHECK BRAKES SYSTEM.BEFORE BRAKES COMPLETELY FAIL.
Well if your brake light is on i would check the brake fluid level and make sure it is ok. also check and make sure the parking brake lever is not partially applied. but the light is probably on just because the abs light is on. it means you have an abs code. probably a bad wheel speed sensor. i wouldnt worry about it becuase abs is not as important as everybody thinks it is and your vehilcle will continue to operate and brake just fine without abs.
SOURCE: brake failure/anti lock symbol and parking brake light stays on
The master cylinder has failed, the fluid bypasses from one cylinder to the other, this is really 2 cylinders in one, the brake system is split in an X pattern.

NO CK FOR WIRES BROKEN TO ABS SENSOR ON TOP OF THE REAR TWO WIRE TERN. & CK SENSOR IN REAR WITH OM METER
SOURCE: ANTI LOCK BRAKES WORK SOME TIMES AND MESS UP OTHER
ABS has a sensor which is basically like a metal blade which sticks into the tire attachment into grooves. As the tire turns, the blade senses the RPM.When you brake suddenly, the sensor tells the computer when your tire is about to skid and releases brake pressure. It applies and releases brake pressure very quickly so as not to cause a skid. One of these may be going bad.A computer check can tell you quickly, but you probably know about computer application pricing. If you want to buy one and switch tires every couple days you could probably find out,but it would be very tedious.Good luck.

Hello and welcome to FixYa!
I suggest that you remove the positive battery connector and let it sit for atleast 5mins. before reconnecting it. This will reset the system and can get the vehicle back to it's normal operation.
If the problem still persists then you may want to have the car's computer resetted to resolve the issue. It can be a computer related issue that needs to be resetted.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa! Have a good one!
