Spray some carb cleaner down the breather pipe the carb could be clogged up so it is not opening properly and choking the engine or flush out your feul they may be dirty and your not getting enough fuel through when you need it or your air intake senser might need changing cus if your air/fuel mix is wrong your engine will stall

run fault codes and look for a fuel supply sensor/servo failure. The heat is affecting the fuel system and is causing a fuel vapour lock or is over pressuring the injectors.

well i'd call the basterd and ask him what he wants to do about it , or take him to court as he did not disclose these problems. Or did he? I would check the fuel system for leaks which causes engine to get air and less fuel than it requires or check tank for leak and also check motor for bad vacuum lines and intake gaskets. spark plugs check.

1991 Dodge Dakota dies when shifting from park

If it runs down highway fine, but just stalls when off throttle, turning, heater on, etc., I'd pull I.A.C. motor off and clean with throttle body cleaner & retry it. Clean port it came out of at same time too. if it cures it even temporarily, and does it again, replace IAC motor.
