I always hear 4 beeps while driving my bmw 2004 525 the sound is inside the car it is like notification but no msg is displayed and it come one time on every driving trip its like ( BEEP- BEEP- BEEP BEEEEEEEEP) last one is too long
Check your speed alarm in your computer. It maybe setup to alarm when going over that speed and it will only do it once during that trip if I remember correctly.

have you had the OBD codes read and cleared? Unusual for so many different components, not related to appear at once, may have to visit BMW as they guard there OBD like its gold !

pressing the CLEAR button for 8 seconds. on older 9-5 and 9-3 SID's, that you must press CLEAR once & release, then press CLEAR a second time, and hold for 8 seconds. While holding down CLEAR for this second time period, at the 4 second mark "CLEARED" will be displayed, and you will hear 1 beep. If you release the CLEAR button at this point, the DTE and MPG will be cleared out. If you continue holding the CLEAR button past the 4 and 8 second marks, you will hear a 2nd beep, and "SERVICE" will be displayed. This now means that you have cleared and reset the Time For Service message.
unfortunately yes it does.its sounds like your 2nd gear synchro is out.unfortunately your tranny needs to come out to fix it.does it only between 1-2? or other gears? if all gears your cutch is goin but just between 2 specific gears a synchro times the gear teeth so they lock in and its off and teeth on the gears are the grinding you are hearing.sorry to have to tell yah that one.i always loved my old 325 is model always fun to drive.
release the traction control if equipt.check to see if the trac control notification light comes on.if not i would check the transmission or have a trusted mechanic look at it.REMEMBER you dont always have to have a transmission rebuilt sometimes its just a clogged filter.
try changing your batters or turn your ignition on and off 4 times till you hear the beep then press the button on keyfob this will reset the fob you will hear beep again that means its done
