Check the oil filter. The old gasket might be stuck on the engine (two gaskets stuck together), or the new gasket might be defective, misaligned or missing.
I see you have changed many parts on vehicle, the only other thing that comes to mind is the timing belt. but that depends if its a four or 6 cylinder. some fours have the timing belt as to the chain. and also make sure you are getting spark from coils. but check the belt first. and make sure fuel pump is ok !! have a good day !!
The Pump is located on the top half of the motor 2 screws 14mm also your going to need a special spanner wrench for the tensioner to take the serpentine belt off follow the hoses to the Rack and pinion or other way arround so you know what you are looking for remove the 2 hoses on the pump and the screws and take it out your also gonna want an oil pan under this b4 you get started it could be messy and degreaser when your done if you already have the pump you know what you are looking for buy new oil never use old oil in a new pump also there is an additive that can be used for better life of the pump ( Mystery Marvel Oil) you only need a cup of it and the rest power steering oil it will improve Temperature and life of the pump and Rack And Pinion happy motoring
you can also try pulling the fuel pump relay under the hood and put it back in. works on my 2000 alero. and yes if the security light is on, you need to turn the key on and wait about 10 min. until it stops flashing, then turn off, then start car.
try this, the next time it quits leave the key in on position and get a broom stick and go to the passenger side of the car. About straight in at the back of the door ,reach under with the broom stick and tap the plastic gas tank a few times, have someone try to start it or go start it yourself. Mine did this even after the garage checked it out and cleaned the tank. Come to find out dirt settles around the fuel pump and clogs it. They just blame the pump but in my case the pump was fine. I was told Alero used a very small fine mesh in the sock that goes in the fuel pump and they clog up. But most of the dirt was around the plastic guard around the fuel pump. See if this works and let us know. Good luck
