i would start with checking the brake fluid make sure its not low and then if they are full then check your abs sensors at each wheel make sure they are working properly
Yes, The light should clear after fix the problem. Check the connection on the sensors. Theres 4, one at each wheel. If you have air in the lines the ABS light will come on. To bleed go left rear, right front, right rear, left front. Don't let the reservoir go dry. Brake fluid should be changed every 30,000 miles
No there is no difference you just do it like normal. Take off the wheel, remove the resivoir cap, take off the caliper, remove the old pads, compress the caliper, install the new pads and put the caliper back on, then the tire, and on to the next.
Make sure you pump the peddle after your done then check the fluid level. If all is good and your not leaking any fluid you should be all good.
I had this problem. When they test the ABS with the car not running the ABS was OK. When the take the car for a drive still hook up to the tester, they find that one of the wheel sensor was bad. I replaced it and every thing was OK.
