This light is indicating your engine has low oil pressure sensed at idle, have the oil pressure checked with a special mechanical oil gauge, if the oil pressure checks ok then just replace the oil pressure sending unit, do this ASAP, if u do really have low pressure u can damage the engine bearings, a very expensive fix.

My 2001 ford escape won't start . I checked all

Can\'t really help you with the no start problem without more information, but would advise you to stop using starting fluid right away. Starting fluid is hard on Diesel engines but they are made for much higher compression so will usually survive intermittent use of starting fluid. Gas engines just plain can\'t handle the much higher than normal compression that starting fluid produces which will destroy valves, piston rings, connecting rods, starters, ring gears on the transmission and head gaskets in short order. If you don\'t want to have to completely rebuild your gas engine don\'t use starting fluid on it ever!

Car trouble 2001 excape makes air spray sounnd when driving. noise stop when you put on brakes

Sounds like a vacuum leak to me, use a 3/8 hose, put one end to youer ear and probe around the hoses, not the coolant hoses.

My oil light comes on when I stop and goes off when I press the gas and start back driving.

Check and verify that your oil level is full on your engine oil dipstick, if its low add oil until its in the safe area of the dipstick, if your oil is full and your still having this problem, the problem is most likely a faulty oil pressure switch, replace the switch and your oil light problem should be fixed...

Check to see if you have had your car serviced for the ABS recall. You will want to do this timely as it is a fire hazard.

2001 Ford Escape a/c

Sounds like for some reason the valve that regulates coolant flow through your heater core is stuck open (even when your temp. control is all the way counter-clockwise). Look at the valve and try to figure out why it's not closing all the way..Could be a linkage proble, The linkage between the heat control on the dash and the valve could be broken or stuck..Also check the thermostat
