The engine oil capacity of a Daihatsu Sirion, 1000 cc Auto, 1999 is roughly 2.5L assuming the sump was drained and new oil filter installed.
This amount will bring the oil level on the dipstick to the upper line.
As a caution, put in 2L initially, then run the engine for a few moments then switch off. After a few minutes recheck cleaned dipstick level and top up as necessary.

Your engine is probably an EJ-DE twin cam 12 valve.

Generally Daihatsu belts have marks on them that line up with dimples on the sprockets for the intial phasing. You rotate the engine to top dead centre on No1 piston and install the belt from there. The cams should be not be putting any pressure on the intake and exhaust valves of No1 when phased correctly.

How to change oil power whell stering daihatsu sirion

Are you after 'changing the power steering oil'?? As your typing seems to have given some odd answers.. If YES.. power steering oil, then you should know there is NO need to ever change this oil.. However, it SHOULD be a reddish colour.. if it is deep black, or smells 'burnt' that is a sign that there is other faults and therefore needs investigation. If on the other hand, there is no deep black colour, a reddy brown is NORMAL and just continue to top up.. I hope this answers your question. Ok?

Hi, my daihatsu sirion, lost power and the engine shakes in idle, i thought might be the spark plugs problem, when i removed them there is oil on the top of pistons, i see from the top, please avdvice me,...

without my head under the bonnet i suspect that the head gasket has failed ,the oil feed up into the head is leaking into one of the pistons or its drawing oil up the engine breather but without my head inside the engine i honestly couldnt tell you and i defy anyone to say they can so please visit a local mechanic and see what he says
