2000 3.2L Chrysler concorde needs new fuel pump. went to auto -zone got new one. old had an external fuel pressure regulator. new ones do not, they have them internally. What about the ground lead previously connected externally, where does it connect to ,or should I not be concerned? Engine still will not run.Got voltage going to coil packs, cam and crank sensors and injectors. Engine still will not run. however, the book tells me approximately 8.0 volts and my meter shows 8.93 volts going to it. That is the leads going to cam and crank sensors. Is that OK.

At this point the vehicle needs to be scanned for trouble codes to determine what area to look for a problem.

SOURCE: approximate price to replace chrysler concorde rear door

Prices will vary depending on a few factors. You can most likely get a used door at a local salvage yard for $100 and up. There's one on ebay right now for $299.

How do I change the fuel pressure regulator on my 1993 nissan 300zx

Remove the fuel pressure first, start the car and remove the fuse to the fuel pump, it's the simplest way, go buy the regulator, remove the two fuel lines first then remove the vacumn line and the two bolts that holds it to the head, when installing just reverse order. Part Number: 800-333 ,

Truck stalls out in the mornings. auto zone said to hook aPSI tester to the fuel rale and they said it was to low i replaced the fuel pump still the same thing.auto zone .what a joke to the tune of...

Pressure regulator could be a factor, but may be part of the fuel pump assembly. Fuel filter could be a factor, but again, with some Chrysler vehicles the filter, regulator and such are all part of the fuel pump assembly.

Where is the fuel filter located

I believe that the fuel filter on the 2000 Concorde, 300M, and Intrepid is part of the fuel pressure regulator and is located on top of the fuel pump module which is on top of the fuel tank which means that the tank has to be removed to gain access to the filter/regulator assembly.

2004 Concorde, 130k miles, recent new auto trans and replaced sensors that tell if fuel is too rich or to lean. Now the car will randomly lose power, tapping on the gas will eventually get the car moving...

130k miles, you should have plugs, wires replaced and also have the coil check. You can go to auto-zone and see they can pull the code for free, that will help narrow it down instead of playing guessing buying the wrong parts and hopping that will work and it can get expensive. I would check the air mass sensor. there is no way of testing the unit and it a self seal unit. No place i know of offer a bench test for the air-mass flow sensor; the only way is to replace them. they are very expensive new and from the dealer, get one from a junk yard or ebay..fairly cheap. air mass sensor measure amount of airflow interring the intake and the computer compute the air and fuel ratio mixture. If the air mass sensor is not working properly than computer will get incorrect air measurement which effect on how computer function the fuel injectors delivering the correct amount of fuel into the intake and cause the engine not to run properly. Weak fuel pump and fuel regulator can cause of lose power. Pressure test can also be done to make sure you getting correct amount of fuel pressure.
