I have just purchased a Audi S3 with heated seats. I am very disapointed with them as you cannot tell they are working as they do not get very warm. I have been told that they are working correctly as they have been checked and the temp they are reaching is 39 deg f. I have had 3 other cars with heated seats BMW's and a Volkeswagen all have had very good heated seats. Can you tell me if there is someone out there that can get into the software to alter the temp control also can anyone tell me what the specification for Audi heated seats? Thank you!

Feb 1, 2012 - My Car 58 S3, as of last night decided to start revving whilst on idle, I found a clip ... I can do or is it going to be a trip to audi for them to pull my pants down! ... Lots of members all over the UK have VCDS, have a look at the VCDS .....and as the engine warms up it'll auto-rev to 1000rpm every time i sit at idle.

Yes. Look for the fuse. Open driver door all the way. It is next to the steering wheel, between the door and dash. Remove cover, and there should be a card that tells you which one is the seat heater.
If it doesn't tell you in the how to switch it on/off in the user manual it probably means that the seat heating is automatic i.e it works when the weather is cold enough, switching itself off when the seat is warm. Fitting an isolator switch into the circiut is possible but not recommended.
