There should be a code inside of the instruction manual that contains the code. Enter this code on your stereo. If you can not find the code, your local mitsubishi dealer can look it up based on the radio's serial number.

Just to clarify, it won't be written in the manual itself. It will be on a card inside of the manual (if it's not in there, make sure it didn't fall out in to your glove box first)

Need the code for the radio

None of the mitsubishi cars stereos have the same code, I had this problem with the stock stereo on my 99 eclipse spyder, I removed the stereo and put an aftermarket in, but changed it back when I was trading the car in, You have to call mitsubishi customer sevice with the serial code number on the back of the radio, also you have to provide them with information to prove that you actually own the car.

I have the stock RF stereo and my 07 eclipse will not read cds, how do i fix this?

If it will accept the disc but not read it, you will need to replace the stereo or have it repaired. Dealerships use a radio service to repair these to keep costs down, so if you are out of warranty you might try contacting your dealer parts department and ask if they would do an exchange unit for you.

This is a common issue with the 06-09 eclipse radios.
