Re: What is the torque for oil pan bolts on 2004 chevy...
For re-install Oil Pan, checj this procedure...

Apply a bead of sealant around the oil pan as shown.
NOTE
Install the oil pan within 10 minutes of applying the sealant.

Install the oil pan, making sure that the pan if positioned fully
rearward against the transmission mounting surface.

Install the oil pan bolts and tighten the side bolts to 18 ft.
lbs. (25 Nm). Tighten the end bolts to 89 inch lbs. (10 Nm).

Connect the engine wiring harness retainers to oil pan.

If equipped with 4WD, position the steering gear upward to the
frame assembly and install the steering gear mounting bolts.

Install the four lower transmission mounting bolts and tighten to
37 ft. lbs. (50 Nm).

Install the nuts securing the fuel pipe bracket at transmission
and tighten to 15 ft. lbs. (20 Nm).

Install the service slot plug.

Right front halfshaft, if equipped with 3.5L Engine

If equipped with RWD, install the power steering gear.

If equipped with 4WD:

Position the differential carrier assembly to the frame.
-
Install the differential carrier assembly bushing to frame bolts.
Tighten to 112 ft. lbs. (152 Nm).

Install the front driveshaft.

Install the engine splash shield.
-
Install the oil dipstick tube. Tighten the bolt to 89 inch lbs.
(10 Nm).

Fill the engine with oil to the correct level.

Start the engine and check for leaks.
