1996 Jeep Cherokee (basic model) heater/AC blower not working

Heater blower stopped working (all speeds) then one day it worked! Worked fine for months now it has stopped again. Where would the problem most likely be found? I suspect a connector. Or the resistor module. Anybody know where that module is located?
1996 Jeep Cherokee Classic (most basic model. Nothing automatic, manual trans, 6cyl engine)

Heater blower not working

You call it the blower motor, I assume you mean the interior Heater/AC blower motor. When the motor acts as you have described it is usually a problem in the motor itself like a short or rectifier.

Heater blowing slightly warm air, but certainly not hot enough for pa winters. what should i try to fix first?

You may have to replace your heater core . Heater cores are kinda like you outside ac unit and if you stand by it you can feel all the hotter air blowing from it to the cooler atomosphere!!!! So basicly your heater core are alumminum fins that your blower pushes recycled heated motor air through', and into the cab . Maybe the blower is weak . Check your fuses and hoses!!!!

2001 Jeep Wrangler heater blower stopped working

Yes I would go with the switch, BUT, does it have a resistor bank? That is, how does it reduce the speed? Many systems use resistors to lower the speed. Burnt or bad connections can cause this as well.
You can test the blower motor by connecting direct power from a source like the cigarette lighter if you are handy.
Most of the time the lower speeds konk out but the high speed continues to work this is the resistor bank that goes out.

I would try to replace the blower motor resistor first,If that doesnt repair your problem you may wanna try replacing the blower speed switch. The resistor is located under the passenger side of the dash mounted in the heater box.

1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo AC blower wont work on high

I'd check the relay and the resistor ...don't have a location for yours but the resistor is always installed into the heater box so it stays cool. you can usually follow the wiring back to the relay as it's generally nearby. Resistor looks like a piece of circuit board material with several wires connected to it with two screws holding it to the heater box so it sits flush except for the wires. It has several coils inside...any that are broken have failed.

Heater/ a/c blower

There is a 30 amp fuse for the blower. The blower motor resistor could be bad.
