IT costs nothing to have a load test done on the battery to check for a dead cell which your problems point to. While the engine is running the alternator will be handling the power requirement but the battery will not supply the power required to start.
this sound to me like at first I thought it was a fuse, as the problem went on it shifted more toward a weak cell in the battery, if a weak cell sits for a little while the battery will not hold the charge in that cell and that will cause loss of power, "its charge", in tne other cells. you had mentioned you used another battery and it ran great but when the battery was removed, things went wrong. You may check to see if there is water in your battery
Sounds like an antitheft problem I would start with the antitheft system. Usually when you only have one key all keys have to be programmed together even the original. When you have more than one it is easy to program additional keys.
my 2006 pt cruiser won"t start. the light do come on but it will not turn over just a clicking sound. i drove it for about an hour then went back to it 30 mins later and it didn"t start. just clicking sound.
It sound like you are having a electrical problem. You need to check your electrical/ignition system, not all electrical problem the diagnostic machine can read.
well this is what you should try ,,jump the car get it running then when its warmed up take the positive lead of the battery if the car stops the alternator is gone (thats what charges the battery) if the car runs its fine
and if u have put another new battery in it and the alternator is fine look for any broken wires earths or positives that could be making it drain so quick and make sure your battery levels are full hope this helps
