How do i find out the code for my mercedes slk radio as i dont have the manual

Try disconnecting the battery fro a minute, reconnect and enter the code on the radio.

Hi Gennea, If the battery runs flat and the radio looses its anti theft code it must be input again before the set can work. The code may be written into the user manual, if not you may have to visit an agent. Regards John

Ther is a code card inside glove box with the owners manualy, look through books and there should be a card with a code on it, most of the time the card will say radio code. if you cant find the code then the radio will need to be removed and the serial # recorded, then you will need to go to the dealer and bring the registration for the car, this will give dealer the vin # and will also prove ownership of the car, with the vin #(veichle identification number) and the serail # of the radio they will give you the code to unlock radio, good day,

You need to contact Mercedes dealer and provide your VIN# for your security code for your radio, TIP: write it down in your glovebox w/a Sharpie

The radio will have to be removed from the dashboard.

Then post the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers on any labels,barcodes or engraved in the metal casing.

There is a certain code that can be got from the dealer that you punch in on the stereo as long as you have the numbers off the radio itself, which means you have to take it out to get that or you may be able to give them the vin number ,hope this helps..
